Do not wonder why things are “taking so long.”
In fact, everything is rolling out exactly as it needs to, using not a minute more than Perfection requires.
Rest easy and be at peace. Life is working its magic even as you take your very next breath.
~ Neale Donald Walsch
I’ve mainly worked from home the past 6 weeks except for a couple of ventures to Tulsa. During this time, I have had ample opportunities to reflect, sit with Spirit, meditate, and make plenty of observations. I’ve asked for and gained clarity. Time has seemed to stand still at times. Repeatedly, I have to double check to see what day it is.
After Brooks experienced his heart attack (read Everything Can Change in a Moment), he has had time to do the same. His residential concrete work slowed down tremendously the last few months. On December 30, he decided it was in his best interest, especially physically, to go ahead and close the proverbial door on that chapter of his life. He had been pouring and finishing concrete the last 28 years, including running his own business the last 15 years. Other than woodworking, this is all he has known as a profession.
With much thought and consideration, he has decided to focus his time and energy on excavation work – leveling pads and grading yards for new residential homes. He has been doing this for two builders the past couple of years in addition to the concrete work. His intention is to acquire additional builders in order to have steady work for himself, since he will no longer need a crew to help him. After making the decision, he mentioned that he was going to wait until Spring to sell the concrete tools, then decided to go ahead and sell them now. I explained to him that in doing so, he was sending a very clear message to the Universe that he was moving into a new direction. The items sold within a couple of days of putting the word out there to other concrete crews. To me, this was indicative of a smooth transition.
I am doing my best to assure him that everything is in perfect order (weather challenges are occurring at this time, new housing additions are being developed, etc.) and to remind him to not fret or worry. He, of course, has to not fret or worry for himself. Thankfully, I have felt extremely calm throughout this process of change. I did not see him pouring concrete again. I’m very conscious of not saying everything I pick up or know unless I am specifically asked. A few times I have offered anyway, and interestingly enough, he has begun to ask more frequently what my “Spidey” senses have to say.
With that said, let the doors close, so that new doors and windows of opportunity open up for you. Receive the gift of endings, so that you can have fabulous new beginnings! Life is working its magic on your behalf.
