I realize that each one of us is having our own human life experience. This human experience may involve challenges as well as triumphs. It’s up to each one of us how we choose to perceive these experiences. We may choose to label an experience as good or bad; positive or negative. In reality, this is simply our perception or a personal assessment of the experience we have had. Remember, perception is how we view or perceive an experience through our senses – sight, taste, touch, smell and hearing.
I recently made the conscious choice to end some relationships that I perceived to be unhealthy and imbalanced. I have always been one to “hang on” because I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. In reality, I was hurting myself and feeling compromised. It’s okay to have boundaries and choose who you want in your life.
I sent out a Happy New Year mailing on January 1, 2013 with the following message ~
As we enter into a new year, I encourage you to take a moment and simply BREATHE. Inhale deeply and exhale any pain, worry, fear, frustration, anxiety, doubt, shame, guilt and anything or anyone that you have been holding on to that no longer serves you. Now is the time to release it and let it go.
Take a moment to assess the relationships in your life. Are they healthy and balanced? Are some of your relationships unhealthy and leave you feeling drained? Perhaps, it is time to establish some boundaries for yourself AND to honor yourself and what you are feeling by speaking your truth in regards to these relationships.
2013 is the time to be clear about your intentions.
What do you desire?
What do you wish to achieve?
What do you wish to create and manifest?
Know that you are worthy to receive and achieve all that you desire!
I realized that it was now time to take action on my own guidance in order to clear the clutter from my life, so to speak. To me, a spiritual person is someone who is walking their talk and talking their walk. They honor and respect other people’s beliefs yet are true to themselves. They recognize that each one of us is a spiritual being having a human experience. Therefore, each person is having their own human life experiences to learn and to grow.
While working the Spirit Fair this past weekend, a very clear message came through during our pre-fair circle on Saturday. The message was “Observe. Allow. Let go.”
I interpreted this message to mean:
Observe what is going on around you understanding that each individual is having their own human life experience.
Allow each individual to have their experience. Honor them where they are at on their journey including their beliefs.
Let go of any attachment to the outcome. Let go of the need to control others. Let go of the need to appease others to simply make them happy.
With that said, know that you are worthy to have those individuals in your life who are worthy to have you as a friend.
